The Trading Post in Islamorada Now Carries Nevada Bob's 50 Years with the Wrong Woman
Thank you, Betsy Here's a store in Islamorada selling Nevada Bob's book. It's a great supermarket called The Trading Post. A b ig shout out to Betsy Jacocks, owner of this popular 24/7 retail store in the Florida Keys that is now carrying copies of Nevada Bob Gordon's 50 Years with the Wrong Woman . The Trading Post has been family owned and operated since 1966. Betsy's family was originally from Connecticut and New Jersey. Like a lot of East Coast northerners, Florida became a desirable destination for getting away. Her dad owned an iron ore mine in Cuba before the revolution that installed Castro, so he had become familiar with the region. The Florida Keys are stepping stones that stretch almost as far as your imagination. When I asked how far Islamorada was from where Hemingway lived, she said 80 miles.
