This week Nevada Bob is in Nashville recording his sixth album, once again surrounded by some of Nashville's finest session musicians including Charlie McCoy, who famously played that wonderful guitar work on Bob Dylan's Desolation Row. In addition to five albums with Dylan, McCoy has recorded with  Elvis Presley, Simon & Garfunkel, Perry Como, Roy Orbison, George Jones, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Ringo Starr, Tanya Tucker, Nancy Sinatra, Gordon Lightfoot, Manhattan Transfer, Jerry Lee Lewis, Waylon Jennings, Chet Atkins, Ray Stevens and countless others.  In 1972 he won a Grammy for his album The Real McCoy, and went on to record 44 or 45 albums of his own.  It may be common for young people to think of folks in their 80s as old geezers, but you can be certain that not all people are cut from the same cloth.
